Our unique, ground-breaking training course
The first part of the Course consists of 4 one-week training modules the first 3 of which are for qualifying as a Domestic Energy Assessor. This is a foundation qualification for the more important 4th module for qualifying as a Commercial Energy Assessor (Level 3) able to carry out Assessments for the 70% of commercial properties that are small to medium in size.
The second part of the Course is strongly recommended to maximise earning potential and consists of a choice of 3 modules to become a Property Professional. You can qualify as one of these elite professionals by training to become what we call a ‘5 Star Energy Assessor’ able to carry out no less than 5 types of Energy Assessments. Alternatively you can combine one or two of these Assessor roles with other property-related roles such as Flood or Fire Risk Assessor, Energy Auditor, Insulation Surveyor, Property Valuer etc as available. A third option is to become a Home Inspector able to produce Home Condition Reports.
The first 3 one-week training modules can be taken ‘Fast-track’ in just 4 weeks to qualify quickly if you have the time available. Alternatively the training can be taken in one-week separately bookable modules with varying length breaks in between which suits those wanting to keep their job and income until they qualify.
The Course is fully trainer-led in air-conditioned state-of-the-art classrooms with a maximum class size of 12 and some training modules include going out to properties to gain valuable practical experience. Most of the qualifications gained are awarded by the Government-appointed Awarding Body for the Built Environment (ABBE). All our Centres are approved by ABBE and form the only national training network.
